Have you ever been to Santorini, Greece or ever dream of going there for a romantic getaway? Fret not, for now, without even spending millions of ringgits to migrate, you will be able to live in the Mediterranean vibes with the new luxurious and affordable condominium developed by Penang-based Ideal Property Group. The luxurious and affordable condominium called i-Santorini, the centre of this article, is part of the i-Condo series which is planned out by the Ideal Property Group.

If you are interested in buying this condominium, check out this review where an extensive research has been done on your behalf.

Building design: 4/5

With the deep azure blue and white-washed walls, the Greek touch of colour schemes blend seamlessly with the blue sky of Penang and Andaman Sea nearby. Living up to its name, one who had been to Santorini, Greece would agree that the condominium complements the beauty of nature by infusing a classy, laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle. The condominium comes with 3 blocks which is divided into two parcels. The first parcel is made up of 2 blocks of 48-storey residential towers which holds 1,320 units and 52 units of shop offices. The second parcel is a block of 49-storey residential tower with 835 units and 16 units of shop offices. Since this is one of the housing projects in which the developer aims to be classified as affordable housing, the units is of a standard built-up area of 850 square feet. Both parcels come with 8-level multi-story carpark to accommodate the needs of the residents.

Interior design: 3/5

The interiors of the showroom are designed with the intention to depict the peaceful and indulgent Mediterranean atmosphere. Although it cleverly maximises the area, it fails to bring about the elegance that one may sought to have in a condominium that showcased mush elegance in its building. The sea-facing condominiums come with three bedrooms and two bathrooms each unit. The fully-furnished showroom shows how the unit can be transformed so beautifully with an extra injection of funds. However, touring the bare unit may lead to a disappointment as they are rather plain with the tile flooring and mediocre bathroom and kitchen design.

On the hindsight, one should not let the bare rooms to be the deal-breaker as the creativity in designing your own home is only limited by your own imagination. One should also keep in mind that this condominium is not a luxurious condominium where the interior designs are flawless.

Location: 4/5

Located by the sea, many will relish in the fact that they get to scratch “living by the sea” off their bucket list. Living by the sea or near the forest allows one to reconnect with nature which has been neglected by many in their busy lives to work and study. Close your eyes and imagine that you are able to feel the salty sea breeze brushing across your face as you open your window to enjoy the glistening blue sea as you enjoy your cup of coffee.

If you are looking for a property for investment sake, this condominium would fit the description. Penang is a growing tourism spot and many tourists choose to rent a condominium or an apartment rather than to stay in a hotel. It gives them the experience that many look for in a vacation, the locality vibes. Situated at a strategic location with breath-taking views, this condominium would be a gold mine in tourism industry. You would earn more from few days rental as compared to long term leases.

Price: 4/5

The price tag of RM400, 000 -430,000 for a unit of the i-Santorini is comparatively low compared to other condominiums which provide similar location or amenities. A monthly maintenance fee of RM121.00 for the parking lot and access card features is rather affordable for a safe and convenient living environment.

Conclusion

One should really consider the condominium as its 80% sales right after launching do speak volume. Be quick and get a unit now before it is completely sold out.
