Ewein obtains nod for RM800m project on Penang island
KUALA LUMPUR: Ewein Bhd has obtained the approval from the Penang City Council for its subsidiary’s project on Penang island which will have a gross development value of RM800mil.
It said on Tuesday the building plans for the proposed development, which would be at Bandar Tanjong Pinang, had been approved
“The GDV of this proposed development is approximately RM800mil,” it said.
Ewein said the proposed development was expected to start in the second half of 2015 and was expected to contribute positively to its results in the coming years.
The parcel of land for the development was alienated to Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd on Feb 17. Ewein Zenith is a 60% subsidiary of Ewein.
